Visitor's Guide

Fire Island is unlike any other place. You won’t be bored here. There is plenty to do, by yourself, with your friends or with your kids. The diversity of communities makes it even more interesting. You can hope on a bike and go explore while riding the many boardwalks and walkways that line the streets. Of course, let’s not forget the beach and all the fun it has to offer! Fire Island has activities for everyone, including swimming, shopping, surfing, bodysurfing for the little ones, hiking, observing wildlife, tennis, fishing, etc. Go to Sunken Forest and explore! You can also take nice daytrips to other communities or even visit the Fire Island lighthouse. Children will enjoy the playgrounds and the wildlife around them. No cars to think about. Just fun and sun.
